Coping With Grief During the Holidays. For millions of people living with grief, the Holidays are the hardest times of the year. From the decorations and music to the parties and traditions, November 1st to January 1st is a season devoted to giving thanks and celebrating what you have. But for those of us trying to survive an unimaginable loss, the most wonderful time of the year is a constant reminder that our families will never be whole again.
We asked six women to share what their grief is like during the holidays and what they wish the world understood about their sadness.
Special thank you to Jaime King, Michelle Pitman, Kelly Benini, Aili Davenport, Kirsten Rowland, and Chelsea London Lloyd for bravely and vulnerably sharing their voices and grief.
